As a new subscriber, am jumping around between the archived episodes. Sarah's expressed interest in history, specifically the Mongols, requires mention of podcasting's greatest gift to history, Dan Carlin. His "Supernova in the East" amazing! "Wrath of the Khans" more specifically up Sarah's alley.
I think I've mentioned this before but the end of my love affair with Neil deGrasse Tyson was the Joe Rogan podcast interview, he was such an insufferable arse, not letting Joe get a word in edgeways, pontificating pompously throughout, he seems to be in love with himself. The thing is that Joe just lapped it up, he seemed in awe of him. It led me to the question, was he always like that and I didn't notice, or has he changed? Anyway, I will never watch anything with him in it again!
