Quite enjoyable and thought-provoking episode. Meghan did pronounce Kamala's name correctly (as she pronounces it), but she totally identifies as being Indian/Black. She was raised primarily by her Indian mom and lived in both Black and Indian worlds - visited India many times to see relatives.

Just so that you are not worried about your listeners not having a life. I do my PT while listening, or play the Wordle of the day or play bridge or chess with bots or write or respond to emails. Yes, you are part of my multi-tasking life. I might not catch every nuance, it is true.

In addition to social media making discourse about race worse, I wonder if it's also partly due to America being such an extraverted, go-getter culture.

We're so eager to actively try to make things better - and to be seen that way - that it's hard to realize when the best thing to say or do is nothing. We'd rather self-flagellate than go unseen. If discourse has gotten worse in other countries, it's probably due largely to American tech and cultural influence.

I'm really enjoying the podcast. Keep up the good work!

I enjoyed the episode and apologize for eating bottled curry.

If you haven’t seen it, there are two videos posted recently by WTFPortland on Twitter involving a driving incident that devolved into race based micro aggression accusations and shouting matches. I recommend viewing it because it ties in to the entire content of your podcast. Namaste. Namu Myoho. Renge Kyo. Zei Zegunt.
