You've got the wrong Benjamin.
Owen Benjamin is a comedian who kind of went off the deep end (for lack of a better term). You can see his last appearance on Joe Rogan where Rogan is trying to give him space to reign himself in and he doesn't. This was 5 years ago or so...
Carl Benjamin is Sargon of Akkad, who did indeed come to fame during the "Gamergate" thing. He's actually a very thoughtful cultural and political commentator now. I think he would make a really good guest for you two as you're in the same lane with the cultural issues (issues between men and women, etc.).
Also, while I don't think he would be considered "red pill," Carl was definitely at the beginning of that movement and could give you a lot of insight on how it started and formed. I would love to see this episode!
